Spoonie Pride Necklace in Brass

A sweet spoon necklace celebrating the strength and temerity of those of us living with chronic illness.

"Spoonie" comes from an article written by Christine Miserandino about living with chronic illnesses and managing daily tasks. As someone who lives with chronic pain, sometimes I have many spoons, and others, none at all. I created this necklace, inspired by Miserandino's metaphor as a kind of solidarity with the other spoonies out there.
